Get ready for a true wild adventure! Lone and Rocky are two of the most remote peaks required for Catskill 3500 Club Membership. There are no trails on these mountains, so today will be a true bushwhack. Our hike starts on a blazed trail, but before long we’ll break off into rugged wilderness. Along the way, we’ll cross streams and carefully negotiate steep rock ledges before reaching each summit canister. Be prepared for a long and challenging day, where your effort will be rewarded with gems of wild beauty as you hike through the untamed outdoors!

These are required peaks for Catskill 3500 Club Membership and #18 and #35 Catskill High Peaks (elevation 3,700’ and 3,487’).

Note: Must have prior tall-peak hiking experience in the Catskill Mountains or Adirondack Mountains before joining a bushwhack. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to
