Gary’s Birthday Hike: Appalachian Trail to Great Falls

Let’s celebrate Gary’s birthday together! Gary Keir – the man, the myth, the legend… If you have been lucky enough to have Gary as your guide you will remember him for his inexhaustible knowledge of birds and trees (beech or birch?), his prep emails (he will tell you exactly what fancy coffee drink you should and should not buy right before getting in the van), and his kindness. He makes everyone – from beginners to experienced hikers – feel comfortable on the trail, and he is always there to give you a spot, a helping hand, or an extra layer. He is also the person behind our carbon emission offset program. We are so lucky to have Gary on the team, and we are excited to celebrate his birthday with a hike!
For this hike, we doing a section of the Connecticut Appalachian Trail, culminating in a stunning set of waterfalls, known as the Great Falls.
