Rockwood Hall, Pocantico River, and Old Croton Aqueduct [New Hike!]
This is a scenic one. On this hike of the the Rockefeller State Park Preserve and the Croton Aqueduct State Park, we will spend a large portion of the day hiking right on the edge of a river, enjoying sweeping river views. The trails are less technical, allowing for a more relaxing day. This is the perfect gentle introduction to winter hiking or just a relaxed day on the trail enjoying natural beauty. Even though this hike is between six and seven miles, because of its flatter and less-technical terrain, we are rating it an ACTIVE hike. If you are a new winter hiker or are not used to the distance, it may feel INTERMEDIATE.

- Waterproof hiking boots (required)

Pack
- Adventure Untamed will provide any traction devices you need, but if you have your own microspikes/snowshoes/crampons, feel free to bring them
