Our adventure begins before we even leave the van, as we make our way to the trailhead via a single-lane old mining road. Appropriately named “Old Mine Road,” the road was a trail used by fur traders and Dutch settlers in the 1600’s. We’ll then spend the day in the beautiful Worthington State Forest. Once we make our way to the top of the ridge, you’ll see sweeping views of the Delaware Water Gap and hike along parts of the historic Appalachian Trail before reaching the natural glacier lake called Sunfish Pond. There, we’ll stop for lunch and enjoy the scenery before embarking on the return journey.

While COVID-19 remains a concern, we are limiting our van capacity to a 10-person maximum, including guides, and leaving the middle row empty for all trips. The limited-capacity trips have a $20 fee to accommodate the changes we need to make for the COVID protocol. The fees will only be in effect for limited-capacity trips.
