Having grown up on the beach of the great Garden State, Michael was introduced to adventure from an early age by surfing the brown barrels of the Jersey Shore. As he began to travel across the country, Michael realized that mountains and the deep backcountry were his true calling. Following this passion has taken him on high altitude mountain ascents like Mount Whitney and Mount Rainier and to practically every nook and cranny in the Catskills in every season. Michael is a big believer in the harmony that comes from incorporating outdoor adventure into life. If there is one thing that Michael loves more than hiking and climbing mountains, it’s sharing that passion with others.
