Appalachian Trail: Sharon Mountain North Peak and Great Falls
Saturday, August 23, 2025
In this hike series, we are taking on the longest hiking-only footpath in the world – one section at a time. For this adventure, we are tackling a Connecticut section. We’ll start the day by summitting the north peak of Sharon Mountain. From the expansive views at the summit, you might even catch a glimpse of the famous Lime Rock car racing track. We’ll end the day at the spectacular Great Falls, a beautiful, powerful waterfall (if you are a waterfall fan, you will love it!). Because this is a point-to-point hike, there is no need to double-back. It’s only the Appalachian Trail, and it’s new places all day long. Come explore the AT with us!
